I'm doing a poetry paper and one of the poet's of whom's poetry I'm analyzing is Sylvia Plath. I just discovered her recently and I find her works very moving. I was in a trance all of english period as I listend to Lana Del Rey's lovely, creepy voice and read Sylvia Plath's poetry.
 
I see so many similarities between Lana Del Rey's music and Sylvia Plath's poetry. In particular I can't help but think of Sylvia Plath when I listen to Born to Die. I used to really hate poetry up until a year ago and now that I'm finding a poet I can relate to it's so lovely.
 
Honestly I'm so happy I started reading her poetry because I understand her and she says the things I don't know how to say.

I honestly feel like I haven't blogged / talked to you all in the longest time. I can't even think of what's new with me because I can't remember the last time I updated you all on my life.
 
I either am coming down with something or my allergies really are this bad, but I feel like death right now. I woke up in the middle of the night last night they were so bad.
 
Oh! The shoes in this set came in the mail today. @lebunnybleu honestly has the most amazing shoes ♥
 
I also feel like my set quality is getting worse. I really want to improve my sets more but I don't know how to.
 
I also love the new Webster for Target collection. It reminds me of Mad Men so much - it's very mod and 60s. I want to buy it all but I'm trying to save my money for New York so I can go crazy and spend it all.
 
I'm also hopefully getting a job this summer. My parents said if I raise half of what it costs to go to India that they would pay for the rest. So hopefully I can raise $2,500 this summer!

It's weird. I made a set like this exactly 9 months ago. 9 months ago I was wishing that it was summer and that I didn't want to go back to school. Now I'm almost done with my sophomore year. I'm half way done with high school. So much has changed in those 9 months. I've been able to get more serious about Polyvore. I've moved from preppy sets to more high fashion sets. I have red hair. I listen to better music.
 
And things are only going to continue to change. Next year is going to be challenging. I'm going to start IB. One of my best friends is switching schools - going to Minnesota. Some of my other friends are going back to public school.
 
I don't like growing up. I don't like time passing by. One of the reasons I hate driving is because I feel too young to be driving. I remember being 11/12 and thinking I was so old. I remember wanting so much for myself. I remember playing Neopets. The thing is those memories seem like they happened last week not 4/5 years ago. I remember feeling cool being a 7th grader and then feeling like middle school went by so fast at 8th grade graduation. And now here I am almost a junior and yet I don't even feel like a teenager.
